Russell Moore MBA, B.Bus (Acc), Grad Dip Ed, CDE

Prior to choosing to become a Public Accountant, Russell gained hands on experience in establishing, acquiring and expanding micro, small, medium enterprises across a range of different industries. He also gained experience in financial & cost accounting and corporate management within larger organisations as an employee within both Government and publicly listed company organisations.
Life as a Public Accountant commenced for Russell in December 1985. Over the 28 years since, he has worked with clients located in Melbourne and the Tweed Valley. He has experience from “both sides of the desk” and has earnt a reputation for a relaxed personal approach to assisting individuals, micro, small medium enterprise owners with their taxation, financial planning, family wealth creation, business growth strategies and transition to retirement options.

Peter Hirons - Practice Manager

Having enjoyed a successful career in banking and finance spanning more than 42 years with ANZ Bank, Peter adapted to working in the small business arena. He was employed by a growing Owners Corporation Management business to assist with implementing systems and procedures and the management of a portfolio of strata titled residential and commercial properties.
Since relocating to the Tweed Valley from Melbourne, Peter has undertaken the responsibilities of Practice Manager for Altumgroup. His focus is on ensuring that Altum provides high levels of customer service to our growing client numbers and his extensive corporate background experience adds depth and breadth to the Team.

Margaret Frankland

With over 40 years involvement in financial management of small and large enterprises, including her own family business ventures, with the past 12 years being employed within Public Accounting, Margaret provides a depth of practical experience to the Altum team. Her particular area of focus is the processing of financial information and general record keeping for micro and small to medium enterprises.
Margaret works closely with clients to ensure that the burden of complying with BAS and income tax return lodgements is minimised and compliance deadlines are not exceeded.

Petra Moore

Following her traineeship at the completion of her Cert 4 in Business Sales & Marketing, Petra is now the executive assistant in the firm and Altum's Marketing & Events Co-ordinator. In this position she provides administration support as well as organising the informational and workshop sessions that are presented to clients and handles the online presence, including social media. She also provides administrative support for our financial planning section. She is currently studying a double diploma of Business and Marketing.
